Joshua H. Uhr, MD, presents a case of a 67-year-old man who underwent surgery for a chronic retinal detachment repair at another clinic. The patient was referred to Dr. Uhr 2 weeks later for a recurrent retinal detachment and cataract. Dr. Uhr shares his approach for removing the cataract and subretinal bands in the macula that would have prevented reattachment of the retina.
