An 11-year-old child with posterior lenticonus presents to Allon Barsam, MD. His approach to capsulorhexis creation in the elastic capsule is shown. Viscodissection and slow motion phaco are used due to the suspected compromised posterior capsule. The author demonstrates removal of vitreous and soft lens material after a tear is noted in the posterior capsule.
