Keith Walter, MD, and Chris Komanski, MD, explain how to use the Femtosecond laser to make channels in the cornea and place tattoo pigment in those channels to cover iris defects. The approach is an alternative to iris prothesis or iris suturing and also useful in covering troublesome glare from laser iridotomies after ICL implantation.

We get the pigment from the internet, a regular tattoo website. We use high quality pigment and typically don't need to mix it. Grey works will for blue eyes, brown for brown etc.
