Traumatic Iridodialysis and Cyclodialysis Repair in Phakic Child

Show Description +

In this video, we show a challenging surgical repair of a young patient with traumatic iridodialysis and cyclodialysis. He was developing worsening hypotony maculopathy despite topical cycloplegia and steroid treatment, necessitating surgical repair. There was no cataract, so we wanted to preserve the crystalline lens. Despite the increased difficulty of working around the lens, there were no complications and a favorable outcome was achieved.
