Michael Patterson, DO, presents the case of a young child who was injured with an airsoft rifle by his friend. He had a total 8-ball hyphema and after the hyphema cleared a cataract developed. The patient underwent a traumatic cataract repair with pupilloplasty at the time of the OR and saw 20/20 post-operatively uncorrected.
