A 5-year-old girl was accidentally stabbed in the left eye with the sharp end of a pencil and underwent a corneal laceration repair, during which a large anterior capsular violation was observed. This video shows the subsequent extraction of the white cataract, primary posterior capsulotomy, and insertion of an intraocular lens in the sulcus with posterior optic capture 4 weeks after open globe repair.

It was unfortunate for the girl to be stabbed in the eye with a pencil but thanks to the successful <a href="https://www.exceleye.com/">cataract surgery</a> ,I’m sure she’s enjoying her usual activities like before. The extraction of the white cataract was elaborated in the best way.
