Scaffold Technique for Safer IOL Exchange Surgery

In this video the author describes the key steps and benefits of the scaffold technique when exchanging an IOL. By implanting the new lens into the capsule prior to explanting the original lens, the operation can be completed more efficiently and safely due to the capsule remaining safely behind a barrier with less risk of accidental damage.
