In cataract surgery, the modern term ECCE has been used very wrongly. In a surgery in which the cornea was cut close to 100 degrees and placing sutures causing high astigmatism, this should be called the classical corneal approach cataract surgery. This name in the video, which misleads other surgeons with no experience in surgery, should be changed immediately. I would like to inform and warn the eyetube manager about this issue. Congratulations on ECCE surgery with a beautiful classic corneal incision.

Dear Ashraf I’m sorry but I disagree with the title and the description. This technique is not a modern technique and for my opinion it is not the preferred technique in this case. The preferred technique is small incision phaco surgery
