Pars-plana Lensectomy, Intrascleral Tunnel IOL Fixation and Pupilloplasty Following Severe Blunt Trauma

Following severe blunt trauma, this young boy had a severely subluxated clear crystalline lens and traumatic mydriasis. Omar Barrada, MD, opted to remove the lens through the pars-plana then fixated the IOL into intrascleral tunnels. After that he performed pupilloplasty to treat the traumatic mydriasis.
