A. John Kanellopoulos, MD, presents a patient who developed an acanthamoeba keratitis. The patient developed significant corneal scaring and severe ocular surface disease. Limbal conjunctival autograft from the fellow eye are placed on the corresponding positions of the diseased eye. The autographs were unsuccessful and an open-sky keratoplasty and cataract removal was performed.
