Dr. Page shares the story of a Tanzanian boy he met on a mission trip with Kenya Relief. One year before this video’s filming, the boy presented with severe proptosis due to orbital cellulitis that developed because of untreated third-degree burns from a head-first fall into a pot of boiling liquid. Unfortunately, his needs were beyond what Dr. Page and his team could perform, but their continued efforts to arrange care eventually allowed him to receive treatment at no cost to the family. This video shows Dr. Page’s reunion with the boy and his family, who traveled hundreds of miles to deliver a gift in thanks.
