In this video, Ulrich Spandau demonstrates how he is able to perform a complete vitrectomy with phacoemulsification, core and peripheral vitrectomy, PVD and membrane peeling with only a Centurion Vision System (Alcon) phacoemulsification machine, Photon Illumination System (Synergetics), three trocars, and an infusion line. No vitrectomy machine is used.

Very nice , the problem is you need a fluid gas exchange , what would you do? Nowadays we can't go to a vitrectomy without an air pump....
