V-Slice Technique for Soft Lenses

Show Description +

After creating the rhexis, a blunt instrument is passed around and through the lens to produce the V-slice. Hydrodelineation is then performed, followed by gentle hydrodissection. Viscoelastic is injected into the cracks to further segment the lens. The central piece is the easiest to remove first, followed by the two remaining crescentic pieces.
