TruSize Diamond Knife for MICS

Show Description +

Dr. Jeffrey Whitman performs a cataract procedure using the new Storz Ophthalmics TruSize Diamond Knife. This innovative diamond knife enhances the already popular Storz Ophthalmics Profile Diamond Knife with incision widths engraved on the diamond blade, ensuring accuracy of incision size. The profile design of the diamond blade offers an asymmetric edge which ensures a straight tunnel through the cornea. It also allows easier creation of watertight incisions while producing less corneal distortion. A tip to shoulder length of 1.75 mm assists the surgeon by providing the extra diamond blade length often necessary in clear corneal incision.
