TRD and RRD With High-Speed Cutter

Papakostas, MD, present a video of a combined diabetic tractional retinal detachment (TRD)/rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) repaired with the 25-gauge high-speed beveled cutter and the NGENUITY 3D Visualization System (Alcon). The design of the cutter allows us to safely remove all the extensive membranes, and NGENUITY provides superb visualization during the surgery. The patient improved from hand motion to 20/40.
