The patient in this video developed a traumatic white cataract secondary to an intravitreal injection and was referred for routine lensectomy and secondary IOL implantation. This video shows the basic steps of using a 19G fragmatome and performing a routine scleral-fixated IOL implantation (modified Yamane technique) by a vitreoretinal surgeon.
