This is a case of a patient with a traumatic subluxated cataract that was referred to the vitreoretinal surgeon for possible pars plana lensectomy. Despite planning for a possible pars plana vitrectomy and lensectomy, the lens was successfully extracted through a clear corneal incision using hooks for capsular support and a capsular tension ring.
