Cathy McCabe, MD, presents a traumatic cataract with zonular weakness and decentration of the capsular bag. After staining the capsule, Dr. McCabe uses forceps to create the capsulorhexis as close to the center of the capsular bag as possible. An Ahmed Capsular Tension Segment is placed in the area of zonular weakness.

Nice surgery. Before starting, did you consider giving dilute TA to the AC for possible vitreous strands in the zonular weakness area?
