Indeed some ultrasound will be faster, however, even in Grade 4, its not unusual to get 6/6 vision by day 2 post op. In this case by 1 week he was 6/6 for far, 20/16 intermediate and N3 for near.

i have to believe a little ultrasound here, at the pupil plane, would be perfectly safe and far better and far quicker than zero ultrasound
