Posterior Cataract Levitation via Pars Plana Injection of Viscoelastic

When the capsule ruptures in a trauma patient, Dr. Devgan performs the posterior assisted levitation (PAL) technique. First, he injects viscoelastic behind the lens through a pars plana incision and then mechanically lifts the lens with the cannula into the anterior chamber.
