I did not understand the goal of keeping iol in anterior chamber during lens removal.do we need such challenges?

ummm...wheres the cataract? what cataract can be removed with zero phaco power? and i dont understand why the phakic iol was not removed first?? whats the advantage of leaving it there during the phaco?
