Matt Hirabayashi, MD, and Greg Parkhurst, MD
Show Description +
Matt Hirabayashi, MD, and Greg Parkhurst, MD, share why they believe the EVO ICL (STAAR Surgical) never needs to flip upside down when using the leading haptics as a predictor of final orientation. If the leading haptics don't look correct, stopping the insertion and reloading, rather than risking it flipping upside down and having to explant it, is preferred.
Financial disclosure: Both surgeons are consultants for STAAR Surgical.
