Why not use Iris Hooks?

I'm a bit worried about correctly repositioning the iris into it's normal anatomical position. I can imaging if the iris is too anteriorly resutered it might cause a secondary angle closure glaucoma. I wonder if the use of intraoperative gonioscopy might aid in proper iris reinsertion with prevention of that potential side effect? That said; nice surgery!

nice. i like the technique where the iris is stabilized with hooks first. and then mattress sutures are used to repair the iris about 1mm from the limbus.
