Due to the fact that this capsular bag was huge we often see in the post follow-up stress folds in the posterior capsule. The fold is generated between the endpoints of the two haptics. These folds will produce glare at night and the only therapy is than, if the patient is complaining, YAG capsulotomy. And I hate complaining patients. With the help of the CTR these folds of the posterior capsule can be avoided as well as an early YAG capsulotomy. Simple, fast, reliable.

why CTR is used here? .. is there any subtle zonullar dialysis!!
