Ozana Moraru, MD, presents a case of patient with myopia and presbyopia with a history of clear lens removal with EDOF IOL implantation in both eyes. Postoperatively, the patient was very unhappy for all distances, especially for near reading and computer work. The patient also developed an early posterior capsule opacification. One year after the surgery, the patient was still unhappy and Dr. Moraru decided to exchange the EDOF IOL for a trifocal lens. The video presents the difficulties of the EDOF IOL removal, followed by the implantation of the trifocal IOL and concurrent posterior capsule polishing.
