Managing a Traumatic White Cataract with OVDs

Show Description +

Donald Nixon, MD, presents the challenging case of a patient with a white cataract caused by trauma. The Healon EndoCoat (AMO) injected at the start of the case helps to keep the liquid cortical material from spilling into the anterior chamber. Then, the Healon EndoCoat is instilled as a "visco-assist" to partition the lens quadrants while the WhiteStar Signature with fusion fluidics removes the leathery material.
