Hafiz Muhammad Abdullah, FRCOphth, FRCS,FEBOS-R, FCPS, shares a case in which a 32-year-old man presented with a penetrating intraocular foreign body (IOFB) that caused full-thickness corneal laceration and a traumatic cataract. The corneal laceration was repaired, traumatic cataract was removed, and 25-gauge pars plana vitrectomy was performed to remove the IOFB under heavy liquid.
