Hello Gary ! Well, They had a modern version of IOL master of V 5. The surgeon told me that they used a wrong IOL power due to bad communication and bad luck. The explanted IOL is 29 D and is Thick of old Sensar Model. Refolding technique can be applied but stressfull probably . Thanks

I am curious as to why the patient had a -9 diopter refractive surprise. What type of biometry was used? Also, with the acrysof platform, the lens can be removed through a 3.0mm wound without cutting by mobilizing one haptic through the main wound, and getting a large purchase on the optic and simply gently pulling it through. The lens will fold in on itself and is quite easy.
