Glued IOL technique has evolved over time. It can now be performed using any three piece foldable or non-foldable IOL as well as single piece non-foldable PMMA IOL. It can also be performed as an injectable glued IOL technique using a three piece foldable IOL. All the steps here remain the same except the technique of IOL insertion into the AC. This decreases the size of the incision and makes the surgery sutureless.
