How to Create a Slit Lamp Barrier Shield

In light of COVID-19, ophthalmologists remain at risk for disease transmission based on our close proximity to patients during examination. Slit lamp barrier devices or breath shields help to mitigate some of this risk by reducing direct droplet exposure between us and our patients (cough, sneeze, breathing). This is a DIY instructional video for eye care providers (ophthalmologists, optometrists) on how to create this shield in the office within minutes, without having to spend a fortune.
