In this video, Alex W. Cohen, MD, PhD, and Vinay Shah, MD, remove a dislocated crystalline lens in a patient with Marfan's Syndrome. They then place a 3-piece IOL via the haptic tuck technique. The Aaren Scientific EC-3 lens which has soft flexible haptics which are less likely to bend and break than previously experienced with the Alcon MA60 lens. The haptics are tucked into scleral pockets instead of needle tunnels.
