This is a 17-year-old patient who was hit in the eye with a bottle rocket firework and subsequently lost his lens. He had a primary lensectomy and partial vitrectomy prior to this surgery. He was left aphasia and with 2.5 diopters of astigmatism. His final acuity was 20/25 uncorrected and 20/20 corrected at 1 week following surgery.
