An aphakic woman was hit by an apple hurled from her husband's lawnmower 60 years ago. She grew intolerant of RGP lenses and presented to Michael Patterson, DO, for surgery. Dr. Patterson implanted an IOL with the glued IOL technique. At her one week post operative visit she is 20/25 best corrected and 20/40 uncorrected.
