In this video, the authors show the fixation of an iris-IOL complex in an aphakic patient with an iris defect by using a double-flanged technique described by Dr. Sergio Canabrava. This  technique simplifies and improves the fixation of the iris-IOL complex into the sclera. It has a low cost and gradual learning curve, which does not require scleral flaps or knots.
