Descemet's Membrane Detachment

Show Description +

In this video, John A. Hovanesian, MD, describes an air injection technique used to repair a near complete detachment of Descemet's membrane following cataract surgery where goniotomy was performed. In this case, it was suspected that the patient's Descemet detachment was caused by hydration of the main incision at the end of surgery, because no localized tear of Descemet's membrane was found.
