Cataract Surgery Under a KAMRA Inlay

Show Description +

Dr. D. Alexopoulos presents a cataract removal in patient who had a KAMRA Inlay (AcuFocus) implanted a year before. Careful consideration must be given to location of the main incision in order to avoid the corneal pocket. While central visibility is obstructed, the inlay contour guides capsulorhexis creation. Phacoemulsification must be performed more peripherally than usual.
