The combination of a 1.8mm MICS phaco tunnel, viscoadaptive viscoelastic, and a precise fit of an IOL injector tip in the phaco tunnel made it possible to avoid leaving this patient with only one functional aphakic eye when a suprachoroidal hemorrhage developed during cortical cleanup.
