The technique of IOL exchange with a single piece acrylic lens in the bag is presented. The exchange of two different single piece acrylic lenses are demonstrated in this video. The first is an Alcon AcrySof that has resided in the capsule for more than a year. The patient desired Multifocal IOL implantation. The second involves an AMO Tecnis ZCBOO implanted 9 months earlier. Generally similar techniques are used, but different materials and design of optic and haptic are highlighted.
