Dr. Atul Kumar presents a diabetic patient who previously underwent laser for PDR and over time developed a vitreomacular traction. Surgery was performed with the Ngenuity 3D Visualization System (Alcon) with iOCT guidance. Intraoperatively the posterior hyaloid was split with the retina pulled up by the inner schitic vitreous which is shown in the video. After the traction was released, a center-sparing ILM peel was performed under blue dye as the fovea was thin.
