This is the first video of a "complex cases" series utilizing the Jacobovitz Multifunctional Choppers. In this video, Sergio Jacobovitz, MD, shows two advanced cataracts cases with specific characteristics. The first case is a bulky rock-hard nucleus while the second one is a white cataract with a dense and elastic posterior plate that hinders proper nucleus fragmentation. In both cases, the double-pit-technique was used which proves useful in hard and large cataracts.
