Optimizing the diagnosis and management of patients with dry eye disease

 In this second podcast of a series dedicated to dry eye disease (DED), Prof. Stefano Barabino (Italy) joins Prof. Margarita Calonge (Spain) and Prof. James Wolffsohn (UK) to discuss the diagnosis and management of patients with DED. This episode covers the symptoms of DED and the diagnostic tools that can be used to identify it. The faculty discuss the importance of taking detailed clinical history, the potential for misdiagnosis, their preferred diagnostic tests and scales for use in everyday practice, new technologies that can be used to aid diagnosis of DED, and the key aspects of the condition that clinicians should explain to their patients.
