Denise Visco, MD, shares her real-world data on the use of intracameral phenylephrine + ketorolac in 46 high-risk eyes undergoing cataract surgery. Retrospective results showed the combination agent was associated with a statistically significant reduction in the need for pupil-expansion devices and surgical duration in patients with known risk factors for intraoperative miosis when compared to intracameral epinephrine. The phenylephrine + ketorolac strategy may potentially reduce complications.
