Topo-Guided LASIK Xtra for Hyperopia

Show Description +

John Kanellopoulos, MD, presents a technique that he introduced in 2004 using topo-guided LASIK treatments for hyperopia. The treatment profile is centered on the visual axis, not the pupil center. Dr. Kanellopoulos uses the WaveLight FS200 Femtosecond Laser (Alcon) to make the flap and performs a Lasik Xtra (Avedro) corneal cross-linking procedure to preserve corneal biomechanical integrity.
