At the 2026 AECOS Summer Symposium, Radhika Rampat, MBBS, BSc(Hons), FRCOphth, and Marguerite B. McDonald, MD, FACS, review two noteworthy talks from a session on challenging cases. The first discussed enhancing a patient previously treated with PRK and which approach—repeat PRK, LASIK, SMILE, or ICL implantation—to consider. The second focused on the limitations of standard pharmaceutical therapy for glaucoma and strategies for mitigating drops’ deleterious effects on the ocular surface.
