Severe Diabetic Tractional Retinal Detachment

Show Description +

This was a great proliferative diabetic retinopathy case where endocautery was widely used, as well as laser and silicon oil. Retinotomies were performed to counteract the tractional forces pulling on the retina, and silicon oil was the perfect tamponade for this case. Endolaser was performed and the macula ended attached with a much better outcome.
