A 45-year-old male boxer presented with a posteriorly dislocated single piece acrylic IOL in the setting of inadequate capsular support. The dislocated IOL was explanted and a Zeiss CT Lucia (formerly EC-3 PAL by AAREN Scientific) three-piece IOL was fixated at 3 mm using only the standard vitrectomy ports.
