Geeta Lalwani, MD, describes the surgical treatment of a patient with a fairly significant epiretinal membrane (ERM) and a dense cataract resulting from the repair of a giant retinal tear. Shortly after the cataract and oil were removed a PVR detachment occurred. Dr. Lalwani explains how she tackled this case.
