ARVO 1999 I remember a talk where they grew picornavirus on a medium, then ablated with an excimer and found that the particulate debris thrown from the surface (plume) still contained live virus particles. HIV is also a small virus!

I doubt there's a single LASIK surgeon who has not noticed what is shown in this video. Are there any studies to show the likely negative health impact by repeated exposure? ( It is unlikely that much will happen to a patient from a one time exposure).
