I perform ICG or BBG-assisted ILM peeing in the cases of RD related to myopic macular hole only. I don't think such procedure is necessary for uncomplicated RD cases. Encircling buckle is unnecessary for the current case also if you are confident that you didn't create any peripheral iatrogenic breaks.

Do you use ICG for ILM peel in all cases of RD? What was the tamponade? Do you think a belt buckle would improve safety as you view of the peripheral retina is not very clear?
