Seven months after uncomplicated AcrySof IQ ReSTOR IOL implantation, slit lamp examination revealed the lens was decentered. After inflating the bag with a dispersive viscoelastic and viscodissecting with cohesive viscoelastic, Jason Jones, MD, attempts to manually rotate the IOL but notes the proximal blub of one of the haptic is stuck to the capsular bag. A hand over hand approach is used to free the haptic from fibrotic adhesions. Lens centration is confirmed with an Illuminating Surgical Keratoscope (Mastel).
